So, I planned on getting in a good 30 minutes of guitar practice today. (I just had my second lesson ever on Saturday). I did that, and then I decided to try and re-create the blues shuffle improv exercise that I did with my teacher in lesson, using Garageband.

So here it is: Blues Shuffle. (Collectors will note that it is the first song from my very first album, “Practice Makes Perfect”.) Note that I didn’t try to edit the hell out of it, so there’s definitely some, uh, figuring it out going on in there, but it should be like a fine wine to those of us who like our artists raw and our mix unpolished.
